Yes, you can. Smart Issue View for Confluence is designed to effortlessly handle such a transition. You don’t have to recreate already embedded issues. More importantly you don’t have reauthorise the plugin to be able to see the issues.
Only those using quick-edit dialog will be asked to reauthorise. LITE version is asking only for read permissions. Full version requires read/write permission to be able to alter issues.
